    Description

    Antique English Jewelry Box. Red velvet lined, the velvet floor is padded. Wood construction, rosewood veneer trim on edges, and corners. Ebonized wood inside the rosewood edges. Two brass parallel inlaid lines on front and hinged top. Keyhole opening on front (lacking key) surrounded by brass. Decorative brass inlaid scrolled element on top of box. A lovely piece, most likely made sometime between 1850-1880.
